Polynesian Cultural Center Presents Te Manahua Maori Performing Arts Competition

The Te Manahua Maori Performing Arts Competition will be held on August 2 to 4, 2012 at the Polynesian Cultural Center, located at 55-370 Kamehameha Hwy., Laie, Hawaii.

The competition schedule will be as following:

  • Thursday, August 2, 8:00 p.m.: Haka Hard and Poi E Competition
  • Friday, August 3, 8:00 p.m.: Concert featuring Maisey Rika and Ria Hall
  • Saturday, August 4, 9:00 a.m.: Maori Performing Arts Competition

The Haka Hard and Poi E Competition and Maisey Rika and Ria Hall concert will be in the new Gateway restaurant and special events venue. The Maori Performing Arts Competition will be in the Pacific Theater.

The Polynesian Cultural Center hopes to share and celebrate Maori cultural arts with the public. The competition will showcase Maori musical talents and performing arts with traditional instruments and costumes.
