The Hale'iwa Arts Festival Fifteenth Annual Summer ArtFest features Juried Visual Artists, plus Musicians, Singers, Dancers, Cultural History Tours, Student Art, Art Demonstrations and Children's Art Activities - Saturday, July 21, 10am-6pm, and Sunday, July 22, 10am-5pm, 2012, in Historic Hale'iwa Town on the North Shore of Oahu. Free Admission.

The Hale'iwa Arts Festival non-profit organization will present its Fifteenth Annual Summer ArtFest July 21-22, 2012 at the Hale'iwa Beach Park in Historic Hale'iwa Town, on Oahu's beautiful North Shore.

The Hale'iwa Arts Festival event activities include approximately 130 juried visual artists with original works and limited editions, both traditional and contemporary, in oil, acrylic, ceramic, photography, sculpture, watercolor, fabric, serigraphy, jewelry and glass, as well as other media. Their art will be available for viewing, browsing and purchase directly from the artists.

The Hale'iwa Summer ArtFest will also include a broad range of performance arts, with performers presenting original music and dance with audience participation encouraged. Also included are cultural history tours, arts demonstrations and displays, and a host of hands-on children's activities.

Our "Cool Stuff to Buy" booth will include our new limited edition poster prints and shirts. And we may have a small quantity of limited edition posters and shirts from past events.

A broad selection of food and beverages will be available at the ArtFest site and also throughout Hale'iwa Town, which is noted for its excellent eateries from local style to fine dining. You can't stay hungry this weekend!

In addition, several North Shore businesses and galleries will be offering special events, attractions, and promotions throughout the area during this "Celebrate the Arts in Hale'iwa" weekend. Stop and go at your leisure as you have an opportunity to experience a weekend filled with a variety of activities, events and promotions here in our unique North Shore community.

Hale'iwa Arts Festival programs have been supported in part by: the Hawaii Tourism Authority and the City and County of Honolulu, Kamehameha Schools, First Wind Hawaii, CVS/Longs Drugs, Hawaiian Telcom, Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Kokua Foundation Hawaii, Hawaii Media Inc., Catchworld, Louibueno's Mexican and Seafood, Pizza Bob's, Aoki's Shave Ice, Hale'iwa Joe's Seafood Grill, Jameson's By The Sea, Turtle Bay Resort, Team Real Estate, the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts through appropriations from the Legislature of the State of Hawaii and by the National Endowment for the Arts, and by our many individual contributors, members and volunteers.
